Top Tips for a successful Web-shop

  • Don’t overload your web-shop with too many products. What occurs is called analysis paralysis. This happens when there is too much choice and the customer is overwhelmed, cant decide and often leaves the site all together. Only add a maximum of 5 colour and design variants
  • Advertising is key! You can have the most amazing products and a beautiful site, but without advertising, no one will know about it! We can help in this area if needed, but we recommend starting advertising a few weeks before the web-shop goes up to excite customers. Make the most of social media and post, post, post!
  • Colorful designs cost money. While you may be excited by having a multicolor design, more colour means more money. Each colour puts the price up so we recommend choosing 1-3 colours max to keep prices down for your customers.
  • Don’t open the web-shop for too long. Because orders are processed once the web-shop is closed, you only want it open for a short time to ensure customers aren’t waiting too long to get their order. You can always open the shop up again later.
  • Give variety to appeal to a range of customers. We have the resource to suit people of all sizes and ages, make your web-shop inclusive!
  • Take note of your most popular items. While your web-shop is live, keep an eye on which products your customer base towards. this can be helpful for planning your next web-shop to maximize sales.
