Why choose a web-shop

Web-shop ideas are endless! Whether its for your sports team, rebranding, a protest or a school, there’s a web-shop opportunity for you.

The advantage of a web-shop is there is no investment required and there ends up being no surplus stock. On a web-shop, you can offer different designs on different garments, eg t-shirts, hoodies, crew neck sweatshirts, ladies tees, kid tees etc. A web-shop is generally open for approximately 2 weeks. The client lets their clients, members etc… know that it is available to purchase merchandise with newsletters, social media etc. People then go onto the web-shop and order what they want, so there are no wrong sizing, nothing surplus, no overruns or deadstock.


1. Idea

In the brief, the client will explain what is expected from this promotion and who their target audience is. Whether the target group is staff for a company celebrating their anniversary, or a protest group trying to gain support, the purpose of why you are marketing your brand is important to the direction we take.

For example, if your chosen product is for the purpose of memorabilia, we would keep the design of your brand/logo untouched for the sake of tradition. In regards to a protest, we may offer some design suggestions such as enhancing colours to make the logo more engaging and eye-catching.


2. branding

We can offer our input to create effective artwork but ultimately the decision lies with you. Common suggestions we make include, simplifying the design, using eye-grabbing colours and fonts, and making sure your design reflect you and your message.

Our team can give advice when discussing products that would best suit the event or occasion. If the event is outdoors, you may want to think about if you would like a marque, flag or banner with your branding on it. If you are thinking about branding apparel you need to decide your range, considering colours, sizes, fabric and decoration techniques (embroidery, screen printing, sublimation, etc) You will be given numerous options to choose from to best suit your purpose.

Our team will also be in contact with our suppliers and decorators to discuss timeframes, quality assurance and feedback from the client.

The client is also expected to decide the names of their items, the name of their web-shop and start advertising their web-shop to their database to let them know it is open for a limited time. It is vital that the client has a marketing plan so your targeted supporters engage and ultimately purchase from the web-shop ( we can assist with free marketing advice).


3. pop-up shop

Once all the items for the web-shop have been approved, our team will start on adding all of these items to the website. These items are loaded on with a size chart, colour options, and a description of the material etc. Once the web-shop is live, the orders are taken in by our system. When it is time to close the web-shop, all of the orders are sent to the decorator to then be sent out to each customer when completed.

If sales do not meet the expected amount, there is a possibility we would have to review whether we continue with production as initial set-ups costs may not even be covered.
